Stefan Trela

Stefan is originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area and graduated from The Ohio State University in 2010 with a degree in microbiology. Prior to medical school, he spent two years working in a cancer genetics research lab at the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he studied the role of the tumor microenvironment in breast and pancreatic cancer. His medical interests include surgery and oncology. Outside of school, he enjoys soccer, working out, and following Cleveland sports teams.
