Dr. Hong is originally from Oakville, Ontario and graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Bachelor of Health Sciences. He received his MD degree from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine in 2016. He completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Toronto during which time he pursued additional training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in New York City, Seoul and Montreal. He has over 20 peer-reviewed publications to date in some of the top medical journals in the world, including the BMJ, J Clin Oncol and Ann Surg. No relevant conflicts of interest to disclose.
