Kenan received his Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley where his research in the Forest Pathology lab focused on the study of the host susceptibility of Sudden Oak. After developing a mobile primary care clinic in rural Honduras and working alongside a team of vitreoretinal ophthalmologists at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Kenan returned to academia to pursue his interests in nutrition at Columbia Unviersity Medical Center and medicine at Hofstra North Shore LIJ School of Medicine. Kenan’s outside interests include reading for pleasure and exploring neighborhoods in NYC.
