Born in Los Angeles, Dylan moved to the east coast for his education, completing a degree in Neuroscience and Biology at Brandeis University in 2010 before matriculating at the Tufts University School of Medicine. During his medical training, he spent a year as a Medical Fellow with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Janelia Farm, their neuroimaging focused research facility in Virginia, where he studied the anatomical connectivity of somatosensory cortex. Dylan continues to be interested in basic science research to further understand the functional connectivity underlying neural signal processing, and in the expanding use of molecular imaging in clinical radiology.
