CPT Akira Shishido, MD

Aki plans to subspecialize in infectious disease after his internal medicine residency. At Harvard Medical School, he worked with small-molecule inhibitors of Lassa and Ebolavirus.  Before medical school, he worked with peptide inhibitors of HIV at Thomas Jefferson University.   Outside of medicine, Aki frequents Irish Sessions, enjoys a good pint, and avoids heel-hooks.
